Top Virtual Crypto Events in January 2021

2021 started with a big bang, with Bitcoin breaking past the $33,000 mark on January 2nd and the market cap of all cryptocurrencies exceeding $850 billion for the first time ever. Combined with growing institutional and retail adoption and hopes for a swift return to normality, this lays a perfect ground for a truly exciting year.

Unfortunately, physical conferences and summits are admittedly a somewhat distant prospect, but online events, even if experiences might be different, are still there, often delivering the same value as offline ones.

Here are the top virtual events in blockchain and crypto space for the month of January 2021.

Happy 12th Birthday Bitcoin – Let’s Celebrate with Crypto Friends!

January 3, 2021

On January 3, 2009, the pseudonymous developer(s) Satoshi Nakamoto bootstrapped the Bitcoin network by mining its first ever block, block 0. The Genesis Block, as it has become known, came etched with a message that would invariably position Bitcoin as an alternative monetary system to rival the realm of central banking: “Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks,” the memo read, in reference to a headline about the U.K. government’s actions during the global recession of 2008 and 2009.

On Bitcoin’s 12th birthday, Tone Vays, a well-known content creator, trader and consultant, is hosting an all-day live stream with guests including Jimmy Song, Giacomo Zucco, Max Keiser, Leah Wald, Ugly Old Goat and many more.
