Top Five Virtual Crypto Conferences to Attend in June 2020

May’s hectic agenda is over, having given us an unforgettable experience of major crypto events taking a completely different shape and being held totally online.

Recently, CryptoEvents spoke to Dr. Steven Waterhouse, Co-Founder and CEO of San Francisco-based Orchid Labs, who was among the speakers at Consensus: Distributed.

“It’s certainly odd giving talks alone in front of my computer screen, but I’ve really come to enjoy our new normal of virtual events. Removing the travel and other time consuming elements of event speaking really makes it convenient to participate in these global conversations. I suspect many event organizers have realized these efficiencies as well so I think that virtual events are here to stay,” said Dr. Steven Waterhouse.

Let’s take a look at what June has in store.

June 2-3, 2020 | Value of Bitcoin Europe

The VoB is a dialogue event that brings together skeptics, advocates, entrepreneurs and inquisitive decision makers. It is a platform to discuss the potential benefits and pitfalls of bitcoin. Nobody knows how this socio-economic experiment will pan out but there are many who have strong differing opinions about it. The goal is to get a comprehensive understanding and enable all attendees to make well-informed decisions about bitcoin related to their profession.

Besides insights on different topics ranging from the unique characteristics of bitcoin to the potential of bitcoin in emerging countries the conference will set a focus on the virtual networking aspect a digital conference can provide. Why that? Meatspace Conferences are not just a space for education but rather about networking and getting together. To make this possible, different formats will be offered during the conference:

Sessions – Deep-dive into the topics of mining, quantitative modeling and the Lightning Network;
Virtual Networking – Breakout rooms for networking with the speakers and other attendees.

June 3-4, 2020 – Fintech Generations

This year’s conference theme is Journey, a theme that is critically relevant given the current state of the world. Fintech Generations organizers are addressing the questions that are on all of our minds right now. Where do we go from here? How do we keep both innovations going and the ecosystem strong? Has this pandemic identified new needs?

The event will be hosted on Fintech Generation’s virtual conference platform, powered by Brella, the world’s leading event networking platform. Since Brella began as a networking platform, attendees will be able to leverage their AI-powered matchmaking program, which identifies key contacts based on their interests and intents, taking the guesswork out of strategic networking.

“Going virtual has opened up all kinds of things that just wouldn’t have been possible in the old model,” said Dan Roselli, Founder of QCFintech, which produces Fintech Generations. “The caliber of speakers is incredible and we expect the audience size to triple because no one has to get on an airplane any more to make an impact.”
