- Exchange Storage: Kickstart your journey with a Coinbase account setup before our session. This will require an ID, and approval may take a few days. Share your experience to enrich our community learning. If you are on a different exchange or have no exchange account yet, all is fine.
- Hot Wallets: We will look into browser and mobile-based wallets like Coinbase, MetaMask, and Trust, understanding their convenience and risks.
- Cold Storage: We will review the security of hardware wallets, such as Ledger and Trezor. Planning to set one up during the workshop? Purchase from trusted sources like Ledger or Trezor or authorized vendors to ensure authenticity.
Interactive Sessions:
- From Exchange to Wallet: Steps to buying crypto and securely transferring it to your wallet.
- Wallet Setup and Recovery: Experience firsthand the setup of new hot wallets and learn how to restore a wallet using a seed phrase.
