The Virginia Blockchain Council is trading policy halls for pint glasses this St. Patrick’s Day. On Tuesday, March 17th at 4:30 PM, the Council takes part in the St. Patrick’s Day Open House at Black Iris — bringing together the blockchain community for an evening of good conversation, green spirits, and a well-deserved break from the Capitol grind.
Because advocacy is serious work… but building community doesn’t have to be.
This celebration is brought to you by our friends at Social Capital, and it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow builders, policy champions, entrepreneurs, and friends of the ecosystem — just in a slightly greener setting.
Expect:
🍺 Green beer flowing
🥃 Irish whiskey specials
🎶 Music that may extend your “quick stop” into a full evening
☘️ Spirited conversations (policy optional)
💚 Zero judgment, maximum camaraderie
We’re turning Black Iris into a proper Irish pub for the night.
Come straight from work. Loosen the tie. Grab a pint. Talk Bitcoin. Toast to champions.
After all — Bitcoin is decentralized… and the Irish have always appreciated a good rebellion.
Wear green. Bring friends. Stay late.
Sláinte. 🍀
