The Genie is a San Francisco-based artist, musician, and performer known for his innovative live-looping guitar style and genre-blending performances. A full-time performer for over 20 years, he gained recognition for his unique use of the Line6 DL-4 pedal and has shared stages with renowned artists like Qbert, Kamasi Washington, and Shabazz Palaces. He also creates immersive mirrored-Mylar installations, including the “Crystal Mirror Space” studio, featured by SFGATE as a top Airbnb Experience. Through this studio, he offers customized musical sessions to global clients. His recent collaborations include artists from Wu-Tang Clan, Zion I, and Dead Prez, and he released a solo album, Crystal Mirror, pt. 1, produced by Jaswho? Widely regarded as a trailblazer in modern performance art, The Genie continues to redefine the boundaries of music and live experience.
