Join us for the vBTC Bitcoin Pizza Day, a fun-filled evening celebrating the historic purchase of two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
On May 22, 2010 Laszlo Hanyecz paid Jeremy Sturdivant 10,000 bitcoin for two Papa John’s pizzas. This exchange is widely celebrated because it is viewed as the first use of bitcoin as a medium of exchange.
This will be a casual evening with everyone, vBTC members and non members welcome. Non members will have the chance to sign up on the night if you wish.
