The University Blockchain Conference (UBC) — formerly the Midwest Blockchain Conference — is the leading access point connecting top university talent with the blockchain industry across the U.S. and beyond.
What started in the heartland of Ann Arbor has grown into a national movement and global network, now spanning 100+ universities including schools in South America and Europe. This year, we’re evolving — new name, new home, same mission.
Built by students for students, UBC brings together university clubs, high schools, alumni, and industry leaders, all focused on pushing crypto forward through student leadership.
👥 Connecting Top Talent with Leading Companies
If you’re a student or faculty member passionate about blockchain, this is your gateway. This November, connect with dozens of hiring companies, VCs eager to invest, and thought leaders excited to share knowledge with the next generation of builders.
If you’re an industry professional, UBC offers unmatched exposure to over 1000+ ambitious students and dozens of elite university programs, many of which have traditionally been difficult to reach. Grow your user base, recruit standout talent, and shape the future of the space.
🚀 Bigger Than Ever — Real Outcomes
UBC 2026 is set to surpass every prior year in every dimension: More speakers. More sponsors. More opportunities.
And it’s working. Past attendees landed roles at:
Coinbase, Circle, Gemini, Galaxy, Polymarket, and many leading companies in blockchain, fintech, and policy.
This year, expect world-class speakers from industry and government, a major hackathon and research competition, tons of networking opportunities, massive side events, and as always, fire merch.
