The Open Source AI Summit is coming to Lisbon on January 9, marking its first edition in the city and the 8th event in the global Open Source AI Summit series.
Co-hosted by KryptoPlanet and NEAR Protocol, the summit takes place as a key side event following BUIDL Europe, hosted at The Nest, Lisbon’s new coworking and innovation hub.
The event brings together AI builders, researchers, founders, and ecosystem leaders for a focused program dedicated entirely to open-source artificial intelligence. The agenda features 20-minute solo presentations and fireside chats, with sessions centered on AI development, open models, infrastructure, and emerging use cases.
Launched by KryptoPlanet in 2024, the Open Source AI Summit series has already hosted seven successful editions across major global hubs, including San Francisco, New York, Seoul, Stanford, Brussels, Singapore, and Bangkok.
