PIZZA SHOULD BE FREE! And this year, for the fourth time, it WILL BE FREE at Cross! This is in the name of Laszlo, the first person ever to buy something with cryptocurrencies. He bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
In his honor, in 2021, http://rarepizzas.com raised over $1,000,000 through NFT sales, and on May 22nd, they’re once again giving away free pizzas to people around the world.
In Prague, Czech Republic, the Cross Club’s café will be the one distributing the pizzas. The first 50 people who order a pizza at Cross on May 22nd and say the password “BITCOIN” will receive their pizza for free, as it’s already been paid for with crypto.
Over 1,000 people from around the world are involved in this project, and all the funds raised are kept in a multi-signature cryptocurrency wallet, allowing everyone to see what’s being done with the collected money. This is the decentralized future, driven by the people.
