The EVM Summit 0 is a one-day conference that focuses on the execution environment and engine of Ethereum, also known as the EVM.
The EVM Summit aims to explore and discuss various aspects of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to identify challenges that need to be addressed, as well as areas for improvement, including related EIPs. Additionally, the summit will focus on challenges and future directions for L1 and L2 scaling solutions, including zkEVMs.
The event will foster conversations on how to improve collaboration between L1 and L2 networks, as well as among different L2 networks. The summit also aims to gather and discuss client-specific (including zkEVM) findings on EVM peculiarities. Furthermore, various interesting topics from the language and smart contract world will be covered as well.
The event is organized by the Ipsilon Team and will be held during Devconnect Istanbul 2023.
