At this month’s meetup, Ethereum Malaysia will be diving into prediction markets with our guest speaker Eason Chai, Founder of Foresight.
Prediction markets are decentralized bets designed to crowdsource truth, hedge risks, and forecast events like elections. In this session, we’ll unpack the basics, the VC-fueled hype, and the harsh reality on why it’s mostly recycled clones and vaporware.
While real gaps exist, Eason will share what’s missing in today’s landscape, how the Foresight team is working to close those gaps, and their hands-on experience building and running a prediction market protocol.
