Why Dublin?
On paper, Ireland is positioned to be a prominent hub for decentralised projects. Anyone would assume the vibrant tech and financial sectors would elicit a deep-rooted culture of web3 innovation, positioning Ireland as a leader in the space.
In reality, the reasons cryptocurrencies are popular in emerging economies don’t apply to Ireland, so the underlying tech hasn’t propagated in the same way. Many other factors inhibit Dublin’s expected status as a flourishing hub for decentralised tech.
