Crypto Friday is The Block’s community social, running since 2017. For Lisbon AI Week, the theme is around one of the hottest questions in tech right now: how can we trust autonomous AI agents?
AI agents are starting to execute real actions — trading, payments, financial decisions — but they’re hard to audit and predict. AI is scaling faster than the trust we can place in it.
The evening opens with a short, informal talk led by Tyler M (EZ Labs / VeriMesh), including a live demo of a trading agent and an audience challenge: propose an action and see how the system verifies or rejects it. Then we open the floor — would you trust an AI agent to trade your money? What would it need to prove first?
Followed by open networking. The place where everyone who spent AI Week in workshops and talks finally meets. Drinks, community, and real conversation.
