LABITCONF, one of the most recognized events on Bitcoin, Blockchain, and now AI, returns to Buenos Aires to bring together thousands of people to learn, debate, and reflect on the impact and future of these technologies in our lives and businesses.
For the fifth consecutive year, LABITCONF chooses Argentina to host its 14th edition. The region’s flagship conference and one of the world’s oldest on Bitcoin and Blockchain technology adds Artificial Intelligence this year as a key protagonist in its conversations.
LABITCONF stands out for its scale, energy, and variety: an event designed both for those already part of the industry and for enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and people just beginning to explore it.
In 2026, it will open its doors on October 30 and 31 at BAFerial (formerly Costa Salguero), Buenos Aires, as the closing event of Tecweek 2026—an initiative by the City of Buenos Aires that brings together leading players in innovation, technology, and the creative industries. During those days, companies, entrepreneurs, investors, universities, creators, and sector leaders connect to share the ideas, trends, and opportunities shaping the years ahead.
HODL: much more than not selling
Each year, LABITCONF chooses a concept that runs throughout the entire event. In 2026, that concept is HODL which in Bitcoin slang means, essentially, “don’t sell BTC.”
But LABITCONF is not here to talk about prices. HODL represents the knowledge, the forward-looking vision, the financial revolution, and the philosophy needed to build conviction and understand why someone chooses to hold Bitcoin beyond its ups and downs.
For Rodolfo Andragnes, LABITCONF organizer and founder of ONG Bitcoin Argentina, it’s about believing in the future of Bitcoin—not driven by the price, but by a different understanding of economics.
The orange pill, as we call it, is like taking that pill that opens our eyes and leads us to rethink the role of the State, banks, trust, the origin of value, and so much more,” said Rodolfo
LABITCONF HODL is for everyone.
“At the event you’ll find suit-wearing executives alongside developers with their laptops, families with children, or people in costume. It’s a unique event, designed for different levels and featuring various simultaneous stages,” explains Andragnes.
What is LABITCONF HODLing this year?
Over the two main days there will be six stages, ranging from financial education and first steps in Bitcoin and Blockchain to advanced coding, trading, workshops, and business. There will also be dedicated spaces for philosophical, economic, and social reflection, as well as a stage focused on the future, technology, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
Among the highlights will be a permanent self-custody space called “la Bitcoineta,” where attendees can personally learn how to protect their assets: generate keys, set up wallets, pla inheritance, and understand the risks and benefits of self-custodying their Bitcoin through free talks and consultations with BitcoinAR specialists.
And to capture the kind of energy that defines the event, attendees will also enjoy the HODLween party at the closing on Saturday, October 31.
But LABITCONF doesn’t end there. Those who opt for the four-day “Experience” ticket will also take part in exclusive activities before and after the main conference.
On the evening of October 29, an executive networking event will be held alongside a special unveiling of a monumental statue of Satoshi Nakamoto at the Parque de la Innovación—an event that will place Buenos Aires alongside Lugano (Switzerland), Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte (El Salvador), Tokyo (Japan), Hanoi (Vietnam), Miami, and Wall Street in New York (United States), all of which already feature public tributes to the creator of Bitcoin.
