More than ever, crypto markets are linked to broader macro markets (geopolitics, inflation, labor markets, etc.), which are presently navigating a fragile equilibrium. And in crypto markets, we’ve been stalled for some time now, waiting for a positive catalyst or two. Now that the cold is gone and we are moving into Spring, this CryptoMondays Wall Street session will focus on key macro and crypto themes that are driving uncertainty and why there are reasons for cautious optimism.
Mr. Cox will be joined in the discussion with hedge fund veterans George Chuang and Jim Hwang.
Mr. Chuang boasts decades of experience across banking, private equity, and quantitative investment management. He serves as Co-Founder and CEO of Lucy Labs, an asset management firm focused on developing and applying quantitative and fundamental trading strategies in major spot, lending, and futures cryptocurrency markets.
Mr. Hwang has been a longtime portfolio manager, CIO, and director at such esteemed shops as BlackRock and CPP Investments. He’s also been a steadfast CryptoMondays member for over 5 years. He serves as Co-Founder and COO of Firinne Capital, which applies tried-and-true quant trading and execution concepts to modern corners of finance, such as crypto.
