On TUESDAY, August 12, CryptoMondays Stamford welcomes its growing community back to Sign of the Whale for another great event sponsored by Vertalo. We welcome the industry veteran Dave Hendricks. Dave will be on-hand to talk about the opportunities that are now available to builders who have been hamstrung by lack of regulatory clarity and how we can all benefit.
Dave Hendricks founded Austin Texas-based Vertalo in 2017 and issued the first Reg D/Reg S tokenized RWA of their own equity in March 2018. Insights from that early and failed effort inspired Dave to pivot in May 2018 to transform Vertalo into an enterprise software platform focused on digital asset data management, tokenization and transfer agency.
Since Vertalo’s commercial launch in 2019, they have issued more than 4 billion tokenized shares, onboarded more than 100,000 investors, and now custody over 300,000 lots of digital and tokenized securities. After 8 years filing endless documents and consulting with the SEC and FINRA, and building with clients including Sumitomo Mitsui and Marathon Digital, Vertalo is poised to help accelerate RWA industry growth and adoption alongside a constellation of partners who now have the permission to implement distributed ledger technology without fear of retribution, cancellation, and sanctions.
