Welcome to the Hamilton Blockchain Meetup! This presentation will dive into showcasing real examples of malicious use of generative AI in various types of disinformation and scam campaigns.
Our real examples will showcase a combination of legitimate and illicit AI tools, with the aim of providing insight into the various tactics, techniques and procedures leveraged by malicious actors. The talk will conclude with coverage on the importance of content provenance and methods for detecting artificially generated content.
Ashley Jess – is a Senior Intelligence Analyst with Intel 471, where she identifies, analyzes, and communicates timely trends related to criminal actors operating in the cybercriminal underground, focusing on artificial intelligence, social engineering campaigns, and critical events. She was previously a tactical specialist with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with experience in researching encrypted communication platforms, cryptocurrency scams and ransomware.
