Honolulu Bitcoin is hosting its first Bitcoin LARP (Live Action Role Playing) event. Join us on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Entrepreneurs Sandbox (643 Ilalo St) in the Purple Box room at 1:00pm.
In this workshop, we’ll live-action role play the bitcoin network. We’ll see how transactions get made, how they get to miners, what work a bitcoin node does, and how it helps secure the network. You’ll get a front-line view of how miners create blocks and transactions get spent, how difficulty readjustments impact block production, and what re-orgs and network splits look like.
All are encouraged to participate, regardless of technical expertise! This is a great opportunity for both beginners and seasoned bitcoiners to learn the fundamental processes that drive the bitcoin network.
