Asheville Bitcoiners is a group for people who are interested in learning about, discussing, and understanding Bitcoin. This includes how to purchase it, how to send transactions, and how to store it securely. Our meetups are a collaborative effort, so if you found a cool article, video, book, or post, please bring it to share!
Simple and straightforward general guidelines:
– the meetup has a simple and singular focus: Bitcoin. All of our topics and discussions will be centered around Bitcoin, the global monetary network, and bitcoin, the reserve asset. If you are interested in trading, stocks, cryptos, blockchains, altcoins, alternative investing, shitcoins, etc. that is completely fine. There are a number of other meetups for you to join. This meetup however is just focused on Bitcoin.
– no photos unless everyone agrees and there aren’t any other folks in the background. We respect everyone’s privacy. There may be people who you consider celebrities or you want to take a pic of the crowd to show how massive the turnout is. While appreciated, just ask instead of taking the candid shot.
