The Stanford Blockchain Conference explores methods of security engineering and risk management in blockchain systems. We are interested in the application of cryptography, decentralized protocols, formal methods, and empirical analysis to improving security or mitigating risk in blockchain deployments.
We aim to foster multidisciplinary collaboration among practitioners and researchers in blockchain protocol development, cryptography, distributed systems, secure computing, crypto-economics, and engineering and economic risk analysis.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Cryptography & distributed systems
– Formal methods and Programming Language Theory
– Attack analysis and threat modeling
– Secure scaling
– Confidentiality
– Hardware
– Testing & deployment
– Cryptoeconomics
– Third party ecosystem
